Summary

Ok so we all know Mabe won dropping just 1 point and CSM didn't get a point...

 

66 goals scored in the 12 matches, 37 of which were against the Miners, with 18 different scorers. Falmouth started relatively weakly, drawing to Exeter and failing to stuff double figures past CSM, but who scored 4 for them after the x-mas break in the twice rained off match which eventually restarted the league 1/2/2014 on the flooded Astro Turf at Penryn College to set them alight, burning CSM 7-1? In the absence of Harrell, Matt Fox scored 4, arguably starting what seemed an unthinkable title race between Falmouth and Mabe.

In the end all 3 top scoreres came from Mabe, notching up 30 of Mabe 31 goals between them: Mossop 13 won the 2013 Caman D'Or, Noonan 11 and the Skipper Birkett got 6. The absence/injury of the Mabe Skipper for the last 2 Mabe games was all too clear in the results. Things could have been very different had Falmouth's second, 1st half goal against Mabe stood in the deluge before Christmas...
