Cornwall Shinty Club

2018 brought with it great news of two new sponsors joining us in March, Harding and Wakefield and Finn M'Couls Irish Pub who had previously sponsored the CSM University team.

 

Harding and Wakefield are an independent agency involved in selling, renting and letting houses in Falmouth close to the main training ground of Cornwall Shinty Club. They have excellent expertise in the property sector and deliver a seamless service to their customers. We are exceptionally happy to welcome their sponsorship which is made even more special as one of the directors has prior experience as a shinty player. Working with them so far has been a pleasure and we look forward to working with them for the foreseeable future.

Our secondary sponsor is Finn M'Couls Irish Pub, also located in Falmouth. In the past the pub has been incredibly welcoming, providing a location to meet after matches and training as well as for hosting AGM's and other meetings. The friendly staff make this sponsor unique while they are always willing to cater to the clubs needs. We are incredibly lucky to have such lovely sponsorship from the pub this year.

All members of Cornwall Shinty Club will now be able to proudly display our appreciation for our two great sponsors with a new kit which displays the two logos. We hope that the support of these two businesses will help give us the edge over the next few months as we begin to play in tournaments up and down the country and hopefully get them the credit they deserve.

We are also looking forward to our future Ceilidh's, a traditional way to celebrate the Celtic roots of the sport after a game. Rebel Brewery located in Penryn has kindly offered to support us in these events through the donation of some of their products. We would also like to thank Mabe Post Office for providing the bubbly for the winner of the Caman D'Or awarde on the 11th of March after the Shinty South West League Final and Granite Rock Brewery who provided the award for the Ladies Player of the Tournament.

 

Finally we'd like to thank Cornish Camans who designed and then made both the league champions trophies and several smaller trophies for all the league officials who volunteered their time.

We are very keen to promote our sponsors as effectively as possible and can erect appropriate signage provided for the pitch, to advertise any events/services they wish to promote. Cunningham Park is shared by the Mabe Youth and Community Project, Mabe Primary School, Mabe Football Team as well as the skate park, so its fair to say its likely to be seen here.
